Art, culture and design: reading the island beyond the image
A route through documented cultural work, not a claim that every exhibition is still open.
Mykonos is photographed so often that an image of the island can start to stand in for the place itself. Cultural work asks for a slower look: who made it, where it is shown, how long it can be seen and what remains after the programme ends. Architecture and design deserve the same questions when they are used to tell an island story.
Our Culture & Art section follows exhibitions, creative spaces and projects with named sources and dates. Delos Watch remains separate because archaeological research and conservation have their own institutions, evidence and public responsibilities. The distinction helps readers find the right record rather than treating every cultural subject as interchangeable scenery.
Use the links below to explore the published coverage and check each item's current status before planning a visit. A past exhibition remains part of the archive even when the doors have closed. This page is an editorial entrance to that record, not a claim of a newly opened show.
