School-gym hours for volleyball; an Ano Mera hall for free classes

A weekday allocation for volleyball

Mykonos Council has unanimously approved use of the Gymnasium school’s indoor gym by the volleyball department of A.O. Mykonos. Decision 155/2026, taken on 15 September and posted on the municipality’s website on 18 September, allocates Monday to Friday, 17:00–21:00, for the period 14 September 2026 to 30 June 2027.

The decision records the club’s request and the school’s agreement. These are the hours authorised for the club’s training use. They are not an open-gym timetable, a match schedule or confirmation that every age group trains throughout the four-hour slot. Families need the club’s own information about groups, registration and any participation charges.

22 September update: a separate indoor and outdoor allocation

Decision 156/2026, also taken on 15 September and posted on 21 September, grants a separate request for volleyball training from 1 October 2026 to 31 May 2027. For the indoor gym it specifies Monday–Friday, 15:00–16:30, and Saturday, 10:00–13:00. For the outdoor gym it specifies Monday–Friday, 17:00–20:00.

This is a separate allocation, not a replacement timetable for A.O. Mykonos in decision 155/2026. In particular, the weekday 17:00–20:00 slot in decision 156 concerns the outdoor space. Neither document gives the public a general right to use the premises during the allocated hours or establishes enrolment terms.

Ano Mera: permission before a programme

A separate unanimous decision by Ano Mera’s Community Council on 17 September approves use of the community building’s events hall for free lessons for children and adults during September and October. Decision 16/2026 does not identify the lesson subjects, teaching provider, exact dates, hours or registration arrangements.

The approval therefore establishes a purpose and a venue, but does not yet give a resident enough information to attend a class. It should not be read as an invitation to arrive at an assumed time.

Existing spaces and unfinished facilities

These decisions concern access to existing premises. The separate Kardamida project concerns three courts still under a revised completion deadline; it is a different stage of sports provision. The next useful notice for volleyball is the club’s group timetable. For Ano Mera, it is a named programme with dates and enrolment information. Until those details are published, permission to use a building and a programme open for attendance remain distinct.
