Mykonos 2027: which event dates are actually on the calendar?

What happened

Swim GP has announced The World Swims Mykonos for 29–30 May 2027, with 10 km, 5 km, 2 km and youth distances starting and finishing at Elia Beach. Its published programme also puts registration, an expo and a briefing in Alefkandra on Friday 28 May. The event has a public race format, but participation is by registration.

Two different retreat operators have also posted fixed Mykonos dates. Mykonos Active lists men-only yoga, Pilates and fitness weeks on 12–19 June and 14–21 August. Yoga Escapes lists 12–19 June and 4–11 September at Myconian Imperial on Elia Beach. These are residential, bookable programmes, not open-access festivals or ordinary public classes.

Why it matters

The two June retreats occupy the same week but are different products at different places. Mykonos Active describes a small villa-based men's group near Elia; Yoga Escapes describes a hotel-based yoga stay. Treating their shared dates as one event would obscure who is running each programme and what a visitor can actually book.

Mykonos Active's August fitness week ends on 21 August, the date its separately announced Naked Men retreat begins. The latter has its own After Dark report and calendar record; a yoga-and-fitness week should not be labelled a kink event merely because the same host offers both. The resulting calendar separates five newly identified programmes and retains the earlier Naked Men listing.

Planning relevance

There is a material qualification on the Swim GP page: its 2027 headline and race timetable sit alongside fee and race-kit text still naming October 2026. We can report the 2027 race dates and Elia location, but should not present the copied administrative details as final 2027 terms. Check the current rules and registration portal before booking travel or entering a race.

For the retreats, verify places, inclusions, participant rules and exact meeting details with each operator. The public pages are announcements, not evidence that a future week occurred. We have not found an equivalent dated 2027 line-up from the island's major music venues, so this early calendar should not be read as a full season programme.
