The revised return sailing
Blue Star Ferries’ weather-disruption notice, updated on 5 October at 09:30, lists Blue Star Myconos arriving at Mykonos at 22:55 and departing at 23:10 on Monday, 5 October. The revised return itinerary then calls at Syros at 23:59, departs there at 00:15 on Tuesday, 6 October, and reaches Piraeus at 03:50. These are the carrier’s published times, not a live position or confirmation that the calls have taken place.
A different departure is cancelled
The same notice cancels the Monday, 5 October departure from Piraeus at 16:00 for Syros, Mykonos, Evdilos, Karlovasi and Vathy, and its return. This cancellation is distinct from the revised return sailing with the late-evening Mykonos call. Passengers should match their ticket to the specific sailing rather than assume that every Blue Star Myconos journey on Monday is cancelled.
What ticket holders should do
For the revised itinerary, the notice says tickets do not need changing. For the cancelled departure, it requires a ticket change through the booking agency; customers who booked through the carrier’s telephone centre, website or seamore app are directed to 210 8919800. Check the carrier’s linked notice and your own booking before travelling to the port. Further operational changes remain possible; this report does not confirm boarding availability or an actual departure.
