The meeting and its agenda
Mykonos Municipal Council is scheduled to meet at 14:00 on Tuesday, 6 October, at Town Hall, with participation both in person and by videoconference. The official invitation, dated 1 October, lists eight matters for discussion and decision.
Requests for cultural spaces
One concerns a request to use an old building in the Meletopoulos garden for the municipality’s weaving department. Another concerns free use of the municipal hall in Matogianni for three purposes: a presentation entitled SANTORINI-MYKONOS GNTO TOURISM FORUM 2026 on 9 October; a presentation of the photographic album Eikones tis Mykonou on 10 October; and visual-art and creative workshops for winter 2026–27.
What remains undecided
These are agenda items, not approvals. The invitation does not establish that the weaving department has moved, that the hall requests have been granted, or the admission conditions and starting times of the proposed presentations. Readers planning to attend should look for the organisers’ programmes and the subsequent council decisions.
Other council business
The remaining business includes financial assistance for residents in need, a permission request for Walk for Hope, requests to use school facilities and space at Korfos municipal sports ground, a cemetery matter and a filming-permission application. The agenda identifies the matters to be considered; it does not establish individual entitlements, funding payments or completed work.
